Our founder and C.E.O. Sabrina Crain Sweeney passed away unexpectedly in June. We as staff would like to continue to honor our founder Sabrina’s mission. We are re-grouping after her passing and we are under new management. We want to continue to offer quality residential treatment in our recovery home but at this time we are in DESPERATE need of donations to remain open and available to the women & children who need us! There is a great need for our services, women phone us daily, but without funding, we are forced to turn them away….

WHAT IS LEARN TO FISH?
Learn to Fish, Inc. is a Faith-Based, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) Residential Recovery Center for Women and their children. We have served Women and Children on the West Coast of Florida since 2007.
Many of the women we serve have lived through pitiful and incomprehensible demoralization. Things most of us think only happen on television or in the movies. Things that were not their fault and situations that they could not escape from.
WHAT ARE OUR PRIMARY GOALS?
To provide women the necessary resources to fully recover from a lifetime of abuse and trauma.
To model unconditional love, teach our residents how to properly parent their children, 
increase self-confidence and self-worth, help them to make better life choices, and instill the importance of education, a good work ethic, moral fiber, and relationship with God.
If we’ve done our job properly, by the time our residents leave our center, they are at the very least eligible for the unalienable right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.
We believe every woman deserves the right to comfortably recover with dignity. We offer hope, friendship, and a loving home environment to heal from a lifetime of pain. We assist women in getting their children out of the Foster Care system and teach them how to build healthy, productive lives for themselves.
