We Need Your Help…We Can’t Do This Alone!

WHAT’S NEW?

Our Learn to Fish Recovery Center ladies attend class. We have a 40+ hour a week curriculum, and the women’s focus, while they are here, is on their healing and recovery.

Thank you, Ms. Chris Roundtree, for blessing Taylor  and mom Alexis with some cool new outfits for school, church, and play. Taylor loves his new hightop shoes with Lightning McQueen, his Paw Patrol flip flops and PJ Masks swim trunks too. Most of all, he loves the set of construction trucks you picked out…momma said he held on to them in bed all night. We at Learn to Fish are blessed to have your support and love of our women and children.

Congratulations to our most recent program graduate Alexis. She is now employed with Manatee County as a Senior Building Tradesman. She is pictured here with Her son Taylor. Alex is our resident “handywoman” and a wonderful mom. We know that God’s blessing is on her life and we are excited to see her journey continue to unfold. We are so proud of you!

Thank you to Christian Family Church and our long time, faithful Bible Study teacher Miss Lori. We were blessed to be able to attend services, and Carrie, one of our Learn to Fish graduates, shared her testimony with the congregation.
After service, we shared a time of food and fellowship with Miss Lori and other members of the congregation.
